Dahua DHI-ISC-D718-T is a walk-through metal detector with the function of monitoring the temperature of the body or objects, made in the form of an arch and designed for easy portability. Detects any types of metals due to high sensitivity.

The metal detector consists of a thermal imager, a 4 MP Smart IR video camera, a host, a high-frequency signal generator, a signal receiver and an infrared sensor. It has a stylish and concise appearance, high metal detection capability, 18 detection zones, a unique network remote control system and light weight.

It allows you to perform the following functions:
● detection of exceeding a certain threshold of presence of metals;
● classification of people and vehicles;
● accounting for the number of people walking and alarm signals;
● record of people with normal and abnormal body temperature;
● monitoring and display of body temperature in real time;
● fire detection and alarm activation;
● detection of smokers or those who call on the phone – activation of intelligent sound and light notification;
● intelligent video analytics (IVS) – detection and analysis of moving objects.

Non-contact body temperature monitoring triggers an alarm when the system detects that the temperature exceeds the set limits. Temperature control accuracy: without black body: ± 0.5 °C, with black body: ± 0.3 °C, detection distance: 0.5 m to 2, target height: 1.2 m to 1.9 m. Supports detection of 60 to 100 people per minute .

The metal detector has a 7″ full-color LCD display. It supports up to 18 detection zones with 12 detectors. The sensitivity of the zone is adjustable from 0 to 250, the security level is adjustable from 0 to 99. There are 17 types of sound signals, volume control from 0 to 10, and support for silent mode.

Can use 100 operating frequencies (optional). It also supports 72 application scenarios and 16 additional configuration scenarios.

The thermal imaging module of the built-in camera supports a resolution of 256×192 pixels. Lens with fixed focus – 3.5 mm, viewing horizontally at 50.6 °, and vertically – 37.8 °. The device works in the spectral range of 8 – 14 μm, thermal sensitivity is less than 50 μm

The optical component of the Smart IR camera is a light-sensitive matrix – 1/2.7″ CMOS. The maximum resolution is 2336×1752 pixels. The sensitivity of the sensor is 0.05 Lux in color mode and 0.005 Lux in black and white. A lens with a fixed focus of 4 mm provides an overview horizontally 71.2°, and vertically 52°.The camera has IR illumination with a range of up to 30 m.

Compression codec: H.265/H.264. Video recording and transmission is possible in two streams:
● main stream: video camera – 2336×1752 / 1080p (1920×1080) / 720p (1280×720) / D1 (704×576), thermal imager – 1.3M (1280×960) / XVGA (1024×768) / VGA ( 640×480) / 256×192.
● additional stream: video camera – 720p (1280×720) / D1 (704×576) / CIF (352×288), thermal imager – VGA (640×480) / 256×192.

The camera has 1 alarm input and 1 output, a slot for a memory card up to 256 GB, supports PoE and has an IP67 protection class.

The metal detector has a built-in RS-485 port, RJ-45 10M/100M (RJ-45) network interfaces and 1 power connector on each side.

12 V DC power supply, 220 V AC adapter included. The maximum consumption is 23 W.

The thermal imaging camera built into the metal detector works on the basis of an uncooled VOx sensor. High thermal sensitivity (<50 microns) allows cameras to capture more image details and information about temperature differences.

Thanks to built-in video analytics, the camera can detect and analyze moving objects. Also, intrusion analytics and Tripwire (detection of crossing a predetermined boundary) are supported.
